The rain stayed away, well almost.
One of the regular calendar events for the Junior Band is an engagement at Bramley Village Fete. Usually a busy, sometimes noisy, open-air concert, the band experience playing without a roof. It makes a difference and not just when it rains.
This year the band played a slightly shorter set but the large audience was no less appreciative and our young musicians rose extremely well to the occasion.
Given the early afternoon schedule, one of the greatest challenges with the Bramley event is how to stop the tutors getting too hungry.
